Internet giants condemn internet spying

Internet security has been a tough ask in recent days. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google chief Larry Page condemned internet spying and want government of all nations to investigate about frauds on the internet.

Larry Page said in an interview that they are quite acquainted with the US government’s policy of actions for safeguarding their citizens. As of now the government has full freedom on the level of secrecy online. He also laid spotlight on Google’s refusal which permitted US intelligence agencies to make data mining on its servers.

Mark Zuckerberg hinted similar things in a statement earlier today. He said that his company has never allowed direct access to its servers to any government. He also stated that no government has ever issued court orders asking them for information in the database and if they asked they have fought aggressively against it. Both the companies denied taking part in PRISM which allowed NSA and FBI to breakthrough the servers. They also denied to join any program that would allow any government to get direct access of servers.

Barrack Obama’s top secret intelligence briefing has been using PRISM since 2007 as a tool to get database informations of various companies, said both the companies. Google often publishes a report on request of governments for data and the way they are handled. Zuckerberg concluded saying that they strongly encourage governments to keep common people safe online.
